Prague, Feb 1 (CTK) – President Milos Zeman was trusted by 59 percent of Czechs in January, which is the same result as in December 2015, and the share of those trusting the cabinet also remained the same, 44 percent, a January public opinion poll released by the CVVM agency has shown.
Out of all constitutional institutions, town mayors and assemblies continue to enjoy the highest confidence of people. They have been viewed as trustworthy by 60 percent of Czechs for a long time.
People have long assessed the two houses of parliament, the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate, the worst of all institutions. Only in three Czechs has trusted them. The situation remained unchanged in January.
Regional assemblies were trusted by 43 percent of people in January and regional governors by 40 percent. These figures did not change against the December results either.
Forty-one percent of Czechs are dissatisfied with the current political situation, 5 percent fewer than a month ago.
Over 20 percent of respondents expressed satisfaction and one third said they feel neither satisfied nor dissatisfied.
