Prague, Dec 22 (CTK) – Czech President Milos Zeman and his wife Ivana plan another charity ball to be held at Prague Castle, the presidential seat, on January 22, Zeman´s spokesman Jiri Ovcacek told reporters yesterday.
The proceeds from the ball will go to the presidential couple´s endowments.
The couple hosted their first ball in the Spanish Hall at Prague Castle in March. Hundreds of people, including politicians, diplomats and cultural personalities, were invited to the event.
The Presidential Office did not release the exact price of the ticket, but it cost thousands of crowns last time.
Ovcacek said the prepared ball would have the same arrangement as the previous event.
After the costs are deducted, the proceeds from the tickets will go to the charity endowment of First Lady Ivana Zemanova and the president´s endowment, originally designated for state debt repayment, but it is newly used to support the Klokanek facilities for children in need.
