Do you love burgers? Are you a budding burger chef with a mouth-watering recipe to share? Prague’s annual food festival Burgerfest in on the hunt for the city’s most talented non-professional burger makers to take part in its hamburger competition.
Teams of four can take part in the competition and the three teams with the tastiest recipe, which will be decided by a professional panel of judges, will receive the title of Best Non-Professional Hamburger and a number of valuable prizes.
So if you have a delicious secret recipe that you want to show off, get together and form a team with your friends, family, neighbours or co-workers and enter the competition to prove that your burger is the best.
Those wanting to take part should build a team of four, select the contest in which they would like to participate from two available dates – 6 September 2014 at 4 pm or 7 September 2014 at 3 pm – and register their team by emailing [email protected] no later than 25 August 2014.
Burgerfest is a popular local food festival that is now in its third year. The 2013 Burgerfest attracted over 30, 000 visitors who ate 23,000 burgers over the course of the event.
Organised by the well-liked burger pub Bejzment, Burgerfest 2014 will be even bigger and better than last year with a new larger location, even more restaurants and vendors taking part, a wider range of food and high-profile sponsors including Hellmann’s and Harley-Davidson, with Prague TV as the festival’s exclusive English speaking media partner.
