The Export Guarantee and Insurance Corporation (EGAP) insured export of machinery and means of transport worth CZK 480bn since 2005, EGAP’s general director Jan Procházka has stated at the 2016 International Engineering Fair. The company currently continues with insurance contracts worth over CZK 20bn. The export of engineering products from the Czech Republic increased by an average of over 7% p.a. since 2005. EGAP’s primary goal is to help Czech firms expand to new international markets.
