The aggregate indicator of confidence in Czech economy in January 2016 increased to 13.8 percentage points from 11.7 p.p. in the previous month. Confidence among entrepreneurs grew in industry (up 2.7 p.p.), construction (up 2.0 p.p.) and trade (up 2.7 p.p.). Confidence in selected service sectors increased by 1.0 p.p. The consumer confidence indicator increased by 2.5 p.p. m/m to 7.5 p.p. The total confidence indicator, enterprise confidence indicator and consumer confidence indicators are all higher than in January 2015.
