In the next five years (2016-2020) the economy can be expected to continue in a positive trend of GDP growth. The average rate will probably reach 1.7 %. This will lead to gradual convergence towards the EU28 average, in terms of GDP per person calculated according to purchasing power parity. In the year 2020, the Czech Republic might reach 85-86 % of the EU average. This is according to an analysis by Deloitte.
