Carmaker ŠKODA AUTO’s global sales in January 2015 increased by 7.5% y/y to 87,000. The carmaker has informed that this is the best ever result for January in the company’s history. ŠKODA AUTO’s board of directors member Werner Eichhorn has stated that the carmaker will continue with its model offensive in 2015 and will e.g. debut the new generation of the ŠKODA Superb model globally in Prague on February 17. The vehicle will be launched on the market in June 2015.
