Czech Railways (ČD) will receive RegioPanter fast electrical trains in 2015. The spokesperson for ČD, Petr Šťáhlavský, has stated in a survey by ČIANEWS that the company may enter into a contract for the modernisation of passenger wagons for the speed of 200 km/h for the Prague-Hamburg route (ca. 90 passenger trains) and a contract for the upgrade of 12 double-storey wagons for local short-distance travel.
