ŠKODA AUTO’s deliveries to clients grew 7.2% y/y to 265,100 vehicles in Q1 2015. In March alone the carmaker delivered 102,100 vehicles. Sales in the Czech Republic grew 30.7% to 7,300 units in March and 28.5% to 20,200 cars in Q1 2015. The new ŠKODA Fabia achieved double-digit growth in Central and Eastern Europe. ŠKODA AUTO’s board of directors member for sales and marketing, Werner Eichhorn, has stated that the carmaker has achieved the best quarter-yearly result in its history and exceeded the limit of 100,000 cars sold in one month for the first time ever.
