The Czech-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ČNOPK) has selected “Industry 4.0 – rEvolution is Underway” as its topic for 2015. The topic involves targeted utilisation of modern communication technologies and artificial intelligence for the creation of gross added value in companies. Industry 4.0 will change the whole industry essential in the coming years, ČNOPK’s ex-president Rudolf Fischer has stated in an interview for ČIANEWS. According to Mr. Fischer, teh topic offers the benefits of lower production costs, higher productivity, mroe flexible response and shorter time to market. These will be beneficial not only for big companies, but primarily for small and medium enterprises and start-ups. The main goal is to secure Czech industry’s competitiveness.
