Brno, June 18 (CTK) – The Diamond Race 2015 Thursday started in Brno with the participation of 32 luxurious cars that are before 750 kilometres of the route across Slovakia, Czech organiser Tomas Kral has told CTK.
In Kosice, the cars will turn to the south and end the race in Budapest, Kral said.
The cars include not only the Lamborghini, Ferrari and Ashton Martin posh cars, but also a Volkswagen Beetle, owned by DJ Uwa, he added.
“This year, the Diamond Race is held for the sixth time,” Kral said.
The drivers said the state of the roads in the Czech Republic was so bad that if they wanted to enjoy their rides, they had to go to Germany or Austria.
Last year, too, the Diamond Race started in Brno.
Its 25 crews drove across Poland, Belarus, the Baltic countries and ended in Prague.
