The Ministry of Industry and Trade will support projects and foreign activities sought on the basis of Czech exporters’ preferences, incl. the tried and tested practice of business trips taken by the minister and governmental and constitutional agents, accompanied by Czech business missions. This was stated by minister Jan Mládek (ČSSD) at the Trade Forum 2016 conference in the Czech National Bank. According to minister, Mládek Czech export totalled CZK 3.4 trillion in 2015, up 6.4% y/y. The export in February 2016 grew 4.5% y/y and foreign trade balance ended with the surplus of CZK 22bn.
