A total of 66% of heads of building companies predict a slight growth in the building segment in 2016. The production will likely grow by an average of 1.0%. The heads cope with a growth by 1.5% for the year 2017. This stems from the Czech Building Industry Quarterly Analysis published by CEEC Research. According to the company, the building production decreased by an average of 8.8% y/y in the Czech Republic in the first quarter of 2016. The building construction fell by 9.9% and the engineering construction decreased by 5.0%.
