UTA (UNION TANK Eckstein) was represented on the Czech market until recently by a local agent, CCS. UTA entered the Czech market directly on May 20, 2016. Through its new representation, the company wants to raise significantly the nos. of customers and issued cards and wants to become one of the top three fuel card providers. UTA has more than 2,500 clients in the Czech Republic now, who use primarily servicing card. UTA’s country manager Martin Máša has stated in an interview for ČIANEWS that the company will focus on transport firms. UTA offers clients various applications, e.g. for fuel optimisation and savings.
