Engineering firm KARSIT has won a contract from Volkswagen Group, which will help the firm raise annual outputs by almost CZK 1bn p.a. in the next seven years. The contract for the delivery of metal components will enable the firm to create new job positions for almost 200 workers. The production factory will probably be built on 12.5ha in the industrial zone in Dvůr Králové nad Labem. The new plant will employ over 300 persons. KARSIT plans to use laser welding, 70-80 robotic workplaces, transfer moulds and hydraulic pressing line.
