ŠKODA PRAHA signed on September 29, 2016, contracts for the construction of the Pljevlja coal power plant in Montenegro. The company has also issued a letter of cooperation for the future supplier of the boiler, Slovenské Energetické Strojárne. Project financing options include a banking syndicate led by the Czech Export Bank, with insurance by the Export Guarantee and Insurance Corporation (EGAP) and Slovak Export-Import Bank. Elektroprivreda Crne Gore is the project’s investor.
