In 1H 2016 CzechInvest negotiated a total of 42 investments worth CZK 16.9bn. A total of 6,000 new jobs should be created as a result. The Germans, Austrians and Chinese plan to invest the most in the Czech Republic. Domestic entrepreneurs account for 7 % of the total investment volume. The largest investment announced in 1H is the expansion of Chinese Yanfeng Czechia Automotive Interior Systems, which plans to open a new facility for automobile interior parts in Tábor by 2018 (CZK 1.85bn, 588 jobs). It is followed by Wrigley Confections ČR (CZK 1.46bn) and Engel Strojírenská (CZK 1.17bn).
