Czech Republic’s state budget generated surplus totalling CZK 55.5bn as of the end of November 2016. State budget income reached CZK 1.14 trillion and spending totalled CZK 1.09 trillion. Ministry of Finance has informed that the y/y growth of total income by CZK 48.7bn (up 4.4%) was driven primarily by higher tax income (up CZK 39.6bn y/). Income from the EU dropped CZK 6.9bn. VAT collection grew 2.3% to CZK 221.8bn.
