A report from the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) ranks the teachers in the Czech Republic as having one of the lowest salaries, in comparison to other OECD members. Czechia is in the same boat as Slovakia, Hungary, and Poland – which currently has its teachers striking for higher salaries.
