Václav Havel Airport Prague should see CZK 27 billion in investment over the next decade, Finance Minister Andrej Babiš told journalists. The announcement was made on the 80th anniversary of the airport’s start of operations on April 5, 1937. The investment is to upgrade the airport so it can accommodate more passengers. Over the next 20 years, passenger numbers are expected to increase on average by 3.4% per year.
