At the end of 2015 Česká Průmyslová Zdravotní Pojišťovna (ČPZP) had CZK 1.6bn on its basic capital fund account according to preliminary estimates, thus fulfilling its health insurance plan. The reserve fund is planned and maintained at a value stipulated by law. This was stated for ČIANEWS by spokeswoman Elenka Mazurová, who added that the insurer’s medical service costs totaled CZK 25.5bn.
