US GE Aviation plans to invest USD 400m in its new European Turboprop Center of Excellence. According to the company, the plant could secure 500-1,000 jobs. GE Aviation already runs one production plant focused on turboprops in the Czech Republic. The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic and the agency CzechInvest declined commenting on talks on the construction of the new production complex in the Czech Republic.
