Cash on delivery is used by e-shop clients less and less frequently, while the share of purchases paid with payment cards is growing. Every sixth transaction made on price comparison portal Heureka.cz is paid with payment cards, up 4 p.p. from current 17%. Cash on delivery dropped 3 p.p. to 35%. COD payments on VIVANTIS dropped from 65% to 58%, while card payments grew 1 p.p. to 9%. Mixit also registers lower demand for cash on delivery payments, while the demand for card payments is growing, while bank transfers stagnate. The company has also launched the Twisto payment method, offering 14-day payment delay. The service is newly used also by discount portal Pepa.cz.
