The coalition government ČSSD, ANO and KDU-ČSL approved at its meeting on December 22, 2014 a public order for the maintenance of aircrafts CASA C – 295M. The proposal was submitted by Czech Minister of Defence Martin Stropnický (ANO). ČIANEWS was told by ministry spokesman Petr Medek that the tender was won by Airbus Defence & Space. The contract for the operation of four aircrafts for a period of eight years allows the maximal financial limit of CZK 1.24bn.
