The National Theatre of Brno, which has been on hold since mid-March because of the restrictions against the spread of COVID-19, has announced that it will scrap the remainder of the 2019-20 season (but close it on a high note with a free outdoor concert), present six outdoor operas during the summer, and start the 2020-21 season early.
