Italian composer Ennio Morricone won the Academy Award for Music (Original Score) for The Hateful Eight. The score was recorded in Prague. Morricone and director Quentin Tarantino worked with the Czech National Symphony Orchestra in a recording studio in the Hostivař district in July 2015.
