Ivo Trajkov’s Honey Night is Macedonia’s candidate in the Foreign-Language category at the 88th Academy Awards. The film written by Ivo Trajkov, a Macedonian director living in Prague, is based on the novel Ucho by the famous Czech writer Jan Procházka and it is actually a remake of the film Ucho (1970) by Karel Kachyňa.
