Hygiene officers handed down fines worth almost CZK 13 million in the Czech Republic last year, ordering the closure or temporary closure of 259 restaurants and cafeterias. The number was higher than in 2014 by 105, Chief Hygiene Officer Vít Valenta confirmed.
