The transfer of ownership rights for Czech Citibank’s retail banking onto Raiffeisenbank on March 1, 2016, marked the formal completion of the sales portion of the acquisition contract. Raiffeisenbank’s board of directors member responsible for retail banking, Vladimimír Kreidle, has stated that all credit cards, accounts, investment products and loans will be transferred into the bank’s systems in the course of 2016. Raiffeisenbank’s assets currently exceed CZK 245bn.
