The construction of the Biocev Scientific Centre in Vestec u Prahy will be completed in summer 2015, concrete mix provider ZAPA Beton has informed. The shell structure has been completed already. Biocev is the joint project of six institutes of the Academy of Sciences and two departments of Charles University Prague. The European Fund for Regional Development is the main source of financial funds. The total planned spending on the BIOCEV project from subsidies amounts to ca. CZK 2.3bn. Zlínstav is the general provider and POZIMOS the subsupplier.
