The Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) for the Czech Republic increased from April’s 54.7 points to 55.5 points in May. This information was provided by HSBC which added that the result exceeded the 25-month average of 54.8 points. The PMI recorded the highest increase in employment in more than four years. The inflation of input prices was at a 15-month high.
