CNN International Commercial (CNNIC) and the Prima Group have entered into a partnership that will see the launch of CNN Prima News, a new news platform, in the Czech Republic. A round-the-clock service based in new HQ in Prague and distributed terrestrially and via cable and satellite, it will launch in the next 12 months and use content created by the news department of the Prima Group. CNN Prima News will be broadcast in Czech and become the ninth channel in Prima Group’s portfolio.
