Entrepreneurs may submit first applications for European subsidies. Six programmes for the 2014-2020 period were approved. They are managed by the Ministry for Regional Development (MMR). Minister Karla Šlechtová (ANO) has informed that additional programmes were sent to the European Commission in May. They will likely be approved by June 2015. Business and Innovations for Competitiveness Operational Programme was the first to open calls with the allocation of CZK 15.3bn. Applications are accepted from June 1, 2015. The Integrated Regional Operational Programme with an allocation of about EUR 4.64bn was approved on June 4, 2015. Calls in the Environment and Employment Operational Programmes will likely be opened in June. Transportation and Research, Development and Education will follow in July and August.
