New passenger car registrations in the Czech Republic in 8M 2016 grew by 12.95% y/y to 172,768 units. The growth in August totalled 16.27%. ŠKODA brand held the highest share with 54,801 vehicles (31.71%), followed by Volkswagen (17,236 pcs, 9.97%) and Hyundai (13,763 pcs, 7.96%). This stems from the statistics of the Car Importers Association (SDA).
