In the first nine months of 2015, the number of registrations of new cars in the Czech Republic increased 141,470 in the same period of 2014 to 171,010. Registrations of light utility vehicles grew from 9,185 to 11,762. The number of registrations of trucks increased from 6,540 to 7,518. Registrations of new buses grew from 596 to 777. New motorcycle registrations recorded an increase from 14,473 to 15,149.
