Carmaker ŠKODA AUTO is building a new stamping shop in Mladá Boleslav. In spring 2015 the carmaker will install a new servo-stamping line in the readied hall. The line will be able to process even big car body parts made from aluminium. The facility is scheduled to operate from February 2017. The company will invest ca. EUR 86m into the new line. ŠKODA AUTO’s board of directors member responsible for production and logistics, Michael Oeljeklaus, has stated that the company’s production will be more environment-friendly, efficient and offer higher potential thanks to the new stamping shop.
