In the year 2015, Siemens focuses on the topic of Industry 4.0 – industrial revolution. The director of Siemens industrial divisions Digital Factory & Process Industries and Drives in the Czech Republic, Wolfgang Weissler, said this in an interview for ČIANEWS, adding that the automotive industry, for example, is one of the fields, where digitalisation influences production processes, distribution as well as the development of products itself. The company has two development and prototype centres in the Czech Republic, where it produces software and hardware products for nearly the entire world.
