Czech Republic’s foreign trade balance ended with a surplus of CZK 18bn in February 2015, according to preliminary data in national classification in current prices. Export in national classification grew by 7.5% y/y to CZK 271.1bn and import by 6.7% to CZK 253.1bn. The total balance was influenced positively by the y/y drop of the deficit in the mineral fuel section by CZK 5.9bn and higher surplus of the balance of trading of machinery and means of transport (up CZK 1.5bn).
