The Ministry of the Environment of the Czech Republic has submitted the National Danube Catchment Area Concept for a consideration. In the period of 2016 to 2021, the plan, among other things, focuses on the protection and improvement of the state of surface and underground water and the river’s catchment area ecosystems. The estimated financial sources amount to EUR 25,374.95m. This is a sum of the financial support from the EU funds and national sources.
