As the Copenhagen Climate Conference winds up, and the European Union pledges to cut back on CO2 emissions with renewed vigor, the Czech Republic’s largest polluters will have to implement sweeping changes to fall in line with larger commitments and stricter regulations. The Czech Republic, despite its size, is one of the largest polluters in the EU, ranking seventh out of the EU-27 with 128.2 million tonnes.
