Carmaker ŠKODA AUTO raised its global deliveries by 9.6% to 97,500 in November 2016. The growth was driven by demand in China (up 12.1%) and Europe (up 9.1%). The biggest increase in sales was registered by the Superb model (up 34.9%), followed by Rapid (up 25.1%) and Octavia (up 6.7%). The company sold totally 1 036 200 cars in 11M 2016 (up 6.9%). ŠKODA AUTO’s board of directors member responsible for sales and marketing, Werner Eichhorn, has stated that the brand registers higher demand primarily for more valuable equipment versions.
