Operators O2, T-Mobile and Vodafone auctioned radio frequencies in 1800 MHz and 2600 MHz bands worth totally CZK 2.643bn, the Czech Telecommunications Office (ČTÚ) has informed. The operators will use the frequencies to boost their signal in locations with heavy traffic. O2 will pay CZK 1.472bn, T-Mobile CZK 729.9m and Vodafone CZK 442m. ČTÚ expects to release the verdict on the allocation of radio frequencies in H2 2016.
