As of January 1, 2017, ABB Czech Republic will concentrate its structure into four divisions: Electrification Products, Robotics and Drives, Industrial Automation and Energy. The biggest and fastest development in all divisions is expected in digitisation. In an interview for ČIANEWS, this statement was made by ABB CR general director Tanja Vainio who added that strategic partnerships were one of the important elements of development. For instance, the company co-operates with Microsoft on the development of new-generation digital solutions on an integrated cloud platform or in e-mobility and services for the charging of e-cars. In household automation, ABB collaborates with Philips, while Samsung SDI is the partner for micro-network development.
