Transport undertaking Dopravní Podnik Města Ústí nad Labem (DPMUL) transported 40,869,235 passengers in 2015, down 2,292,000 year on year. The company does not expect an increase in the number of passengers in 2016. This information was provided to ČIANEWS by spokesman Luboš Heřman who added that in 2016, the DPMUL would renovate its customer and information centre in Revoluční Street for CZK 3.7m. A reconstruction of ticket automats for CZK 1.5m is also planned due to the expected transition to EOS.
