The current account of the balance of payments in the Czech Republic ended Q4 2014 with a surplus of CZK 5 billion. The financial account saw an influx of funds from abroad totaling CZK 1.9bn. The reserve assets of the Czech National Bank (ČNB) increased by CZK 29.7bn (not accounting for exchange rate differences) thanks to transactions for client. The surplus of the current account of the balance of payments on an annual basis to GDP totaled 0.6 % and was achieved thanks to an increase in the assets of the balance of goods and services (to 6.9 % of GDP).
