Czech export will grow 2% in 2016 and will approach CZK 4 trillion, the Czech Chamber of Commerce predicts. According to the chamber, GDP will grow 3% in 2016. The chamber’s vice-president, Bořivoj Minář, has stated that the total foreign trade balance has the potential to generate surplus of CZK 200bn. Small and medium enterprises have also became interested in exporting abroad. Almost 300 of the SMEs participated in Regional Export Conferences organised by the Chamber of Commerce and Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2016.
