The consortium of Škoda Electric and Solaris will deliver new trolleybuses to Budapest. The city has use the option for 12 vehicles worth over CZK 70m. Škoda Transportation’s vice-president for trade, Zdeněk Majer, has stated that the delivery of Solaris low-floor trolleybuses will follow up on previously delivered 24 vehicles and will take place before the end of 2015. Škoda Electric will supply the electrical gear and secure the vehicles’ assembly.
