Photon Energy, which is currently entering the Prague Stock Exchange, is planning on an increase of its portfolio in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and especially in Australia, where it has been operating for five years already. At the same time, according to its general manager George Hotar, it is also analysing other markets outside Europe, for example in Latin America or Iran. The company was founded in the year 2008 in Prague and now resides in Amsterdam. It has so far built 60 photovoltaic power plants in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Italy, Germany and Australia with a total installed output of nearly 50 megawatts (MWp). It operates its own portfolio of solar power plants in Europe and Australia with an output of 26 MWp. In addition, it provides technical and economic operation and maintenance for 151 power plants with an output of more than 180 MWp.
