The British carrier was operating 11 flights a week between Brno and the Bavarian capital, which have been cancelled with immediate effect. According to a 16 February press release from FlyBMI, the company’s collapse is a result of a spike in fuel and carbon costs, coupled with uncertainty surrounding Britain’s exit from the European Union.
