On March 31, 2016 the gross state debt of the Czech Republic totaled CZK 1,694.7bn. Medium- and long-term state bonds issued on the domestic market represented CZK 1,263.8bn of this total and those issued on international markets represented CZK 225.9bn. The debt to GDP ratio equaled 37.6 %. This stems from the Report on managing the Czech Republic’s state debt in Q1 2016 issued by the Czech Finance Ministry.
